The Costa de Almeria is located in the South East of Spain, tucked away between the Costa Blanca and the Costa del Sol. Generally, the area has yet to be discovered by the tourist industry and is consequently still rural and typically Andalucian. Almeria is an area steeped in Andalucian tradition, with the historic villages of Mojacar, Turre, Los Gallardos and Garrucha all within easy reach of Vera Apartments.

These luxury Duplex properties are situated along the peaceful Vera beachfront, just 300m to the un-crowded beach. Bordering the complex there are restaurants, Spanish, Italian, Dollar Bar with pool tables, The Dali restaurant with flamenco dancers and several other restaurants and snack bars within a short walking distance. Along with Several supermarkets and shops.

These duplex�s are designed around stylish walkways and gardens, with some overlooking the large pool area, which is surrounded by green lawns. The pools are clean and well maintained with an additional smaller children�s pool for the younger children.

A short walk along the promenade brings you to the fishing village and Marina of Garrucha. An ideal location to sample one of the many famous fresh fish restaurants along the Marina, whilst watching the local fisherman and boats come in with their daily catch.

A new promenade leads from the apartments into Garrucha which passes by a play area for young children, and out towards Mojacar beach. Garrucha is very family orientated with no nightclubs, but many child friendly restaurants. Facilities consist of : a large open-air market, water sports, tapas bars, shops, supermarkets and banks.

The interior is decorated to a high standard, with a spacious lounge and dining area with TV, ceiling fan and sofa bed which sleeps two comfortably. A fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, washing machine, fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob.

The first floor has two bedrooms, one bedroom has a comfortable double bed, the other bedroom has two twins beds, ample wardrobe space and an overhead fan. The bathroom is fully tiled with bath/shower, washbasin, bidet and toilet.

For the evening�s spent dining �Al fresco� there is both a small terrace at the front overlooking the gardens and also a roof sun deck, which offers optimum privacy for sunbathing.

Amenities consist of good restaurants and bars along the beachfront. Also at 5 mins drive the busier Mojacar beach with lots of lively bars/karaoke/disco and live entertainments etc. There is a regular hourly bus service which runs along the whole coast area from Villaricos village all the through to Mojacar beach and up into the quaint mountain village of Mojacar.

For keen golfers there are three golf courses in the area, the first on the mountain, which is a nine-hole golf course in Cortijo Grande. Two new courses in the area: Desert Springs Golf Club 6179 metres, Par 72, this is the first desert golf course in Europe, and is built to the standard of the famous desert course in Arizona. Also Marina de la Torre 5700 metres, Par 72, positioned opposite the beach in Mojacar�s this course attracts golfers looking for that new challenge. Split into two distinct nine holes on either side of the hill, overlooking the beach and sea.

The beach is very clean (award winning), located at 300m from the apartments. A lovely flat sandy beach by a designated nature reserve, �never overcrowded�. Situated nearby is a new Aqua park, with water shoots, slides, and pools.

Although car hire is not necessary, should you wish to explore the beauty of the mountain villages in the area a car is advisable. We can assist your with car hire ensuring you are met at Almeria airport by an English speaking rep, prices start from �100pw.
