Maui by the Sea is a beautiful vacation rental - an ideal ocean-view cottage located between Paia and Hookipa. Our two story newly-built plantation style cottage has a gorgeous view of a sapphire ocean with dancing waves. Simply sit back, and relax on the private covered lanai and enjoy the view.
The 500 sq.ft air conditioned apartment is upstairs, surrounded by all kind of Hawaiian tropical plants : bamboos, palm trees, gingers, heliconias and fruit trees. The inside is cozy and high end. A separate bedroom with queen size bed, full bath, and full kitchen. Both rooms have ceiling fans. Washer and dryer are in the unit. The cottage is provided with cable TVs and DVD/VCR, phone/answering machine, stereo, combination safe and barbecue.
Parking (for one car only) is inside the premises, the property is secured by a locking gate with private code. No smoking on premises, thank you.

Local Area Details

Your cottage is 150ft from the ocean (access to the water is possible but there is no beach in front of the property, it is a rocky shoreline). A sandy beach is 200 yards from the cottage with access for windsurfing, surfing and snorkeling, or if you wish just sun bathing on the golden sand.
Hookipa, the world-famous windsurfing spot is 2 minutes away.

Stores, post office, bank and a great variety of wonderful restaurants are in Paia, 2 minutes away also. Serious shopping and theaters are in Kahului 15 minutes from our little heaven.
