Property Details of Sardinia Apartment
Tastefully furnished two bedroom apartment. Lounge with settee which makes up into a double bed. French windows with balcony which has lovely views down to the sea and into the hills. Adjoining kitchen diner area with oven, kettle etc.
1 double bedroom with king size bed plus single bed that can be pulled out from under main bed. I small bedroom with single bed.
1 bathroom with shower and washing machine.
Communal barbecue area with outside shower. Own parking. No pool.
Towels and bedding are supplied. The beach is a 5 minute drive away.There is a restaurant/caffe’ with several shops which are a 5 minute walk.
How to get there
The nearest airport is Olbia which is 35 minutes from the apartment. There are two roads, one coastal, the other more direct which takes 20 minutes.
There are Ryanair flights to Alghero, the airport on the northwest side of the island direct from London. Meridiana now also fly directly to Olbia. A car can be picked up from the airport, Hertz, Avis, Europcar are all available and can be pre-booked. The road is good and journey takes about 2.5 - 3 hours.
If travelling by car from England you can drive to Genova or further south near Rome and pick up the ferry from there. Booking can be done on the internet

Sardinia is renowned for its beaches which are sandy white and free, most are suitable for children as the water is quite shallow. Water sports, trekking in the mountains are available. There are quite a lot of evening activities in San Teodoro and Porto Ottiolu’, a lovely small port with shops and restaurants.
Location
The apartment is in Agrustus (Budoni) about 30 minutes drive from Olbia the nearest airport and ferry port. The apartment is on a hillside 2 km from the local beach and a 5 minute walk from the local shops in the village or a short car drive to Budoni or San Teodoro, which are local towns. San Teodoro which is the largest town nearby has supermarkets, discos, tourist agencies for car hire and ferry booking to Italy mainland or Corsica. The bus service is not good and a car is a necessity, they can be hired from the airport or locally. August can be noisy as nearly all the Italian tourists that visit Sardinia tend to take their holidays in August
