La Cachette B&B sleeps up to 5 in 2 large comfortable double rooms. Overlooking the village of Grolejac with wonderful valley views. Our rooms are named after two of the local chateaux. Montfort is a large double with views down the valley and a large private shower room. Fenelon is a large double (with an additional single bed) and an ensuite shower room. Our rooms have exposed beams, seating for guests to relax and there is a hair dryer in each room. Our generous continental breakfast is served on the terrace or in the beamed salon where there is a log burning fire out of season. Guests have the use of a sunny terrace where they can relax with a glass of wine and take in the view. There is also a terraced garden with sun-loungers.
Local Area DetailsLa Cachette is close to medieval Sarlat and Domme and a short drive to the picturesque riverside villages of La Roque Gageac and Beynac Rocamadour is only an hours drive This beautiful region of France has so much to offer with chateaux riverside villages grottes prehistoric sites to name but a few Locally the village of Grolejac has 2 restaurants within walking distance a large lake with a sandy beach and a beautiful nature walk through the marshlands canoe hire on the river Dordogne which winds its way past the village an excellent cycle path through the river valley we have 2 bikes for hire and a tennis court There are horse riding facilities and a golf course close by
