Welcome to Casa Sophia, a delightful, traditional village house in a quiet, pedestrianised lane within the charming Village of Torrox Pueblo. The Casa is comfortably furnished for up to 6 guests. You enter up a gentle slope off of the lane directly into the cute sitting room with a tv and radio. There is a downstairs double bedroom and a short passage way leads to the well equipped kitchenette with an oven with gas hob fridge and microwave. Just outside in the courtyard is the shower room with separate new toilet and a lavateria (washing machine etc). Opposite the kitchen is a dining room with a table and 6 chairs. Passing through this room you go up the stairs to the large landing which has put you up beds and is suitable as either an alternative living room area or third bedroom. There is also a quaint bedroom with single beds and a wardrobe and dressing table. From the 3rd bedroom you can also access the large suntrap terrace which is some 20' x 10' in size and has a table and chairs and makes an ideal place to chill out in the evenings. Located in a quiet pedestrianised road yet only two minutes from the main road which passes around the Village, and only two minutes from the main Plaza, Casa Sophia is located in a very convenient and choice setting. The bus stop is just round the corner as is parking and a bit further is an even larger car park. Buses are very frequent, reasonable in price and punctual. La Plaza de la Constitution is the main Square and is extremely traditional and attractive with half a dozen excellent and reasonably priced bars and restaurants. There are numerous shops dotted about a market, pharmacy, doctors, dentist etc. The Village winds in labrynth of delightful flower bedecked streets lanes and steps, with the ever present warbling of canaries and finches as musical accompaniment. This is Real Spain but next to the sea and modern conveniences. Torrox Costa is a delight and only 2km from the Village. With a wide sandy, gorgeous beach and rather sedate promenade with numerous restaurants and bars, stalls and shops to explore. Further along there is the wilder part with beachside traditional restaurants with the traditional delicacy of sardines braised on an open fire. There is miles of gorgeous beachside where you can just stop the car hop out and take a dip.
