Our house faces east/west with beautiful sea view. The house has 2 double, 1 twin bedroom plus a single bedroom (a cot is available if required). There are two bathrooms, the main one has bath with shower and bidet - the second bathroom a shower only.
There is a large living room with terracotta floor leading to the covered terrace with dining table and chairs for 6 for meals outside. There is a large terrace at the front of the house, which enjoys the evening sun. All bedrooms have a balcony or terrace. Upstairs there is a sun terrace accessed from the master bedroom with views over the bay. Inside there is a dining table seating six for meals indoors. There is a modern fully fitted kitchen. Entertainment comes from DVD (selection provided), video and hi-fi in the living room and a TV upstairs in the master bedroom. The car is safe and secure in the houses own parking garage accessed by stairs from within the house. Guests enjoy the use of a swimming pool and the beach is a 15-minute walk away

Local Area Details

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Serra Bernia the white houses of Altea cling to the gentle hillside and down to the sea. Its always a pleasure to stroll through the peaceful Old Town with its narrow streets full of traditional Spanish houses - their whitewashed facades often teeming with bougainvilleas and geraniums. Around the church the streets are a jumble of fashionable shops, restaurants and a high quality craft market. Sit and eat the best in Mediterranean cuisine while enjoying the astounding views. Altea is still a working port and you watch the fishermen returning in the evening while enjoying seafood and a drink.
Groceries can be bought from nearby shops with bakery and grocery about 100 metres away. Supermarkets in Altea are a short drive and huge hypermarkets and shopping centres in Benidorm are about 20 minutes drive. Children of all ages will enjoy Terra Mitica - the best themed leisure park on the Costa Blanca. The railway station is 10 minutes walk and provides trains to Alicante, Benidorm , other Costa Blanca towns and the rest of Spain. When you rent a villa in Altea you get the benefit of a beautiful town and the facilities available in all the nearby Costa Blanca resorts.
