Don't stay in the back of Calis Beach resort and have to cross busy main roads or dark un-lit gravel roads with the children or friends, stay on Calis Beach where everything is right on your door step on the pedestrianised sea front promenade.

Local Area Details

All the resort facilities and attractions including restaurants bars and shops and practical things like mini markets banks and currency exchanges are all available within a 2 minute stroll along the seafront promenade There are larger supermarkets and bakeries and a weekly market nearby in Calis Getting out and about in the local area is very easy and very cheap as the local Dolmus bus terminus is close by so you can visit nearby resorts like Fethiye with its lovely marina and Olu Deniz with its fabulous beach and Blue Lagoon There is also a water taxi service direct from Calis seafront to Fethiye marina

Shopping in Calis is colourful and fun. There are a number of clothes shops with fake designer styles, jewellery, leather and the usual tourist shops. There are a number of local convenience stores for every day supplies and there are a couple of larger supermarkets for the weekly shop. Calis is a blaze of neon at night and the sea front area is very colourful with many shops, bars and restaurants.

Kum City Beach Club is right opposite Artemisia Residence Apartments and offer breakfast, lunch and dinner with some pretty fabulous sunsets across Fethiye bay. You can enjoy a morning coffee, or a traditional Turkish pizza called "Pide" for lunch. The Beach Club also offers night time entertainment dining with Turkish Nights including Turkish Folk Dancers, Belly Dancers and Fire Eating shows. Cafe Deck Restaurant has a nice cool terrace under shaded trees and is situated just one street back from the promenade. Serving late breakfasts from 10.30am to snacks, lunch and dinner until 11pm. You can enjoy a cool drink all day and the prices are excellent. Fresh food is prepared all day with a good selection of dishes and specialities like their garden barbecue night. Cafe Deck restaurant has a very simple but friendly feel to it with lovely staff. Cafe Deck... good food, drinks and a nice friendly atmosphere. Villa Beach Restaurant has a nice terrace on the beach front promenade. Serving breakfasts, snacks, lunch and dinner you can enjoy a cool drink all day and the prices are very good. Fresh food is prepared all day with a good selection of dishes and specialities like their buffet barbecue night. Calis is a crescent golden sandy beach offers a fine sandy and in parts shingle beach with clean water quality and a small surf. It has a good reputation locally for safe bathing and a friendly feel. There a a couple of beach clubs that offer fine resturants as well as casual dining and relaxation areas and a beach drinks and snacks service. You can hire sunbeds and parasols and the seafront is fringed with a multitude of bars and restaurants of all styles and nationalities. Nearby is the popular beach of Olu Deniz and it's famous "Blue Lagoon".
