Property Details of Provence House
The house is built on three levels and has been completely renovated in the Spring of 2009. The house is light, bright and airy, but is cool at night. From the sitting room window there are wonderful views down the valley to Aups and towards the Gorges du Verdon.
Facilities and accommodation
From the road you enter the house by the stairs onto the first level, directly into the kitchen.
Kitchen: The kitchen is well equipped and has a fridge; cooker; table and chairs for up to six people, plus there is lots of storage with a large walk in pantry. From this room you go through to the:
Sitting Room: Here you will find comfortable seating with a sofa and easy chairs, coffee table, TV/DVD and CD player. This room faces North East so gets the early morning sun. From this room you have the views of the Gorges. Adjacent to this room you will find a single bedroom.
Bedroom 3. This is a single room, and is ideal for a child or single grandparent. The bed is a single and measures 90cm wide.
Taking the stairs from the kitchen to the next level you will come to the newly refurbished bathroom and Bedroom 2 .
Bathroom: Newly fitted with toilet, hand basin and bath with shower.
Bedroom 2. This is a double room. The bed is the old French style and measures 1m 40 wide.
Continuing up the second set of stairs in the house you reach the Master Bedroom.
Master Bedroom. This is a large room with views over the rooftops at the front of the house. There is a double bed, and lots of storage space, plus also enough space for a travel cot. The stairs leading to this room are quite steep.
Outside: At the front of the house you are directly onto the road, but it is very narrow so there are no passing cars. Occasionally a neighbour’s car will arrive, but that is just for unloading groceries etc. There are restrictions in the old part of the village for parking cars, but directly at the back of the house is a large area for parking.

Local Area Details The centre of the village is just a short walk through the streets where you will find the bakers bar and one or two restaurants butchers and a small supermarket You can also continue to walk down to the swimming pool and tennis courts in the village The swimming pool which is open only in July and August is Olympic size and there is also a small childrens pool Attached to the pool is a snack barsmall restaurant available to both swimmers and non swimmers The price to enter the pool for an adult is Euro 250 and Euro 150 for children Details for booking the tennis courts needs to made at the swimming pool Next to the courts is also a play area for children The post office is also on this site and there is a cashpoint located outside For supermarket shopping there is an Atac Supermarket on the edge of the village with a petrol station There is also a Sunday market in the village
