Villa Folle Volo is a comfortable, modern and individual villa dating from the 80’s designed by a wellknown local painter who remains the current owner. Every aspect of the interior of this artist’s home has been chosen with care and beautifully finished to a high level. The villa is very individual- full of art works and sculptures tastefully displayed both in the house and grounds. The living room is lit by large French doors allowing access into the garden.
There is a well stocked library of music, films and books for guests’ use.
The villa has two bathrooms and three individually decorated bedrooms with french doors and beautiful views of the garden – two with kingsize beds and one single.
The fully equipped; bright and modern kitchen opens onto one of the two verandas, which have comfortable seating/eating areas where you can socialize or simply enjoy relaxing and dozing.
The villa's garden terrace is covered in scented honeysuckle and scrambling passion flower, the perfect setting for enjoying a glass of wine or dining al-fresco while taking in the magnificent views. Here you can watch an array of colourful butterflies and moths; fireflies and humming birds or the swallows as they dip and dive.
Why not dine outside to watch the dramatic sunsets or enjoy a glass of champagne under a blanket of stars.

You can enjoy a variety of activities to suit all tastes during your stay - from golf; horseback riding; sailing; trekking and mountain biking to concerts, both classical and contemporary; cinemas; theatres; museums and archeological sites.
However, there’s nothing like getting close to nature to help you relax, and we want you to enjoy discovering Umbria not only through art and culture, but also by getting the real taste of Italy.
We can organize wine-tasting, bringing Italy’s famous cheeses, olive oil, truffles and other homegrown and finest natural delicacies to your table.
As your hosts, we would like to share with you the produce from our organic vegetable and herb gardens, and the fruit from the orchard.
Joining the olive harvest and seeing the oil pressed is a special seasonal experience which we can organize for you, since we produce oil here from our own groves.
Throughout the year there are many ‘festas’ – festivals - some celebrating a particular harvest such as those of mushrooms, olives, snails, grapes, chestnuts and the famous chocolate festival in Perugia. Many festas have ancient origins which are commemorated by those dressed in medieval costumes, the display of bright banners and traditional horse races. There are also the traditional and beautiful religious processions at Easter. Arezzo is home to the largest antiques fair in Italy, held monthly with a vast array of goods. In Umbria there are a few smaller antique fairs.
The views within walking distance of Villa Folle Volo are simply outstanding, a patchwork of green and yellow woodland and fields. From the hills behind the village you can view Lake Trasimeno from an unspoiled setting. . We're only 20 minutes from Lake Trasimeno with two islands which can be visited by ferry and a bird sanctuary to observe the many migratory birds.
We can help plan travel itineraries throughout Umbria, Tuscany, the Marches and beyond including arranging private tours with multilingual guides, cooking classes, horseback excursions, shiatsu massage (right in your apartment!) and yoga practice; painting sessions; lessons on decorating furniture which you can even choose yourself at one of the weekend vintage markets and many other activities to help you create the holiday of your dreams full of things to do, which will leave you with beautiful memories.
