Casa Dell'Amorino is a lovely Italian, self-catering house, in Introdacqua, close to Sulmona, in the Abruzzo national park. The refurbishments on the 200 year old "Villetta a schiera vecchia"
(old town house)were finished in July 2008.
The house has been refurbished and furnished to a very high standard.
It has central heating, and a stuffa (wood burning stove) in the ingresso, two bedrooms and two bathrooms one with a large bath and walk-in shower. The balcony doors and windows were hand made in the village and are double glazed. There is a balcony on every floor with views across the village to the mountains.
On the top floor there is a small private terrace.
The house has been equipped to a very high standard; it has a fully fitted kitchen, TV DVD, CD player and hair dryer.
It is a perfect location for winter skiing, walking and or trekking holidays, for sightseeing, a romantic break away, or a place to enjoy excellent food and wine.
Local Area DetailsThe medieval village of Introdacqua is situated in the Abruzzo national park The village it self has every thing you may need for your stay ie Two restaurants two bars a bakers butcher florist chemist and grocer The village hosts many feste througout the year including the very popular summer jazz festival Swimming is available at either of the two local pools the lakes at Scanno or the Adriatic sea It is an area of outstanding beauty and there are many walks in the surrounding mountains ranging from challenging to gentle strolls
