Most Bars close to all the places we have selected are in safe areas but one must still be sharp and make sure that you have a taxi on hand to drive you home,one that is recommended by the place in which you are staying.

The nightlife in most of te city areas like Johannesburg I would suggest staying close to the place where you are staying there is always some night life in the area,one must just ask the guest houses/or owners they will guide you to all the best places.

About Transport

If your stay is in Natal,one can swim all year round there are designated beaches where one can swim NEVER swim where there are no beacons. In the Easter and Western Cape the water will be too cold to swim in winter but one can still have a walk and drop in at some of the pubs along the way on the beaches.
