Property Details of Pays de la Loire Farmhouse
You have a choice of either the 2 bedroom Gite or 2 bedroom House or combined to make a spacious 4 bedroom accommodation. The Gite has 2 double bedrooms and a single bed. The new double bedroom downstairs also has an en-suite shower and WC which is ideal for guests who can't manage stairs.
We are located in a quiet farming community on one of the Coevron hillsides with fantastic views of the valley below. Enjoy quiet walks down local lanes and footpaths directly from our self-catering home and have a BBQ in the evenings. The 2 bedroom House and 2 bedroom Gite can be rented separately.
We are only 30-40 mins from Le Mans making it an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of the Le Mans races from May to July, etc. We have plenty of private and safe undercover parking.
Children (and adults) will enjoy the splash pool, swings and other outdoor games. We have archery equipment and give basic lessons. Ideal for pets, including horses because we have about 8 acres of land. We have horses which children will enjoy and can sit on for experience.
Local Area DetailsWe are near Le Mans and many other interesting places such as the Galo Roman town of Jublain La Fleche Zoo and Saulges Caves. Plenty of places to keep children happy, such as Papea City in La Mans and zoos or the Medieval centre near St Suzanne etc.
Many of the villages and towns in France have regular festivals and fêtes where you can enjoy fun activities watch shows and buy home-made jams art beer and other interesting items etc.
Coevrons provides a choice of six fishing rivers ranked first or second category. The Aron Orthe Jouanne and also Ouette Vaige and Erve provide different types of fishing and have abundant fish of all kinds

About ParksSille Plage is a large lake with a sand beach surrounded by forest and is only 15 minutes drive away. There are paddle boats, restaurants, pony rides, walking paths, etc. ideal for families.

About Children ActivitiesWe provide a good quality modern bow suitable for most adults and the arrows are blunt-ended; a small target is provided for scoring purposes.Note: We do not allow archery if there are youngsters around.Volley ball and badminton make for a fun family game or you could try your hand at the relaxing French games of Boules. We now have swings for the younger children. The water in the splash pool is taken from the well at the beginning of each season and treated regularly. Occassionally the water is totally replaced if required. The well water has been tested and is drinkable, tasting like good spring water.
About FerriesThe main ferries from UK go from Poole, Portsmouth, Newhaven and Dover and arrive in France at either Cherbourg, Caen, Le Havre, Dieppe or Calais. The main ferry companies are LD Lines, Brittany Ferries, Condor Ferries or EuroTunnel. From Ireland LD Lines travel from Rosslaire to Le Havre or Irish Ferries from Rosslare to Cherbourg or Roscoff. LD lines are best value and reduce the driving time. However, Dover-Calais or Eurotunnel provide the cheapest crossing. Cheap flights to Rennes or Tours from Flybe or Ryanair.

About WalkingPleasant walks down country lanes, tracks and forests directly from our property. Some of the routes are on the French GR walking paths which have been set aside for locals and visitors to enjoy the countryside.
