A very spacious self-contained apartment with superb river views. The apartment is in an old merchants house situated on the quayside of the picturesque town of St Savinien. There is a very large living room with a corner kitchen (fully equipped) and dining area. The spacious double bedroom has a double bed and there is also another single bed in the room.
The bathroom has a bath and shower, toilet and washhand basin. All linen and towels included. Please bring your own swimming towels!

Local Area DetailsSt Savinien is a small picturesque town with a market twice a week in summer. It has several restaurants shops a supermarket and on the island opposite a lake with minature boats and an openair heated swimming pool and a crazy golf course. Saintes and St Jean dAngely are a 15 minute drive. Beaches are within a 35 minute drive - Royan Ile d'Oleron, Fouras and Chatelaillon Plage. Cognac with its cognac and pineau distilleries is approximately the same distance. La Rochelle, Angouleme and Niort and the Marais Potevin are also all within easy reach. A car is advisable though there is a train station in the town with trains twice a day. There are several golf courses nearby - Saintes, Royan and Ile d'Oleron
