This environmentally-friendly lodge boasts totally private camps where tranquility and silence are the order of the day. Guests are surrounded by breathtaking scenery and share their surroundings with nine different species of wildlife and an abundance of flora. The lodge is build to respect and be close to nature, and every camp is battery and gas operated. Klipplaatz’s unique tented bush lodge consists of 10 six-bed and 5 four-bed camps. All the camps are completely private, situated away from one another and separated by indigenous bush and trees. Each camp has its own private boma area where guests can braai and relax around a camp fire under the stars. You may even hear the roar of lions from neighbouring farms. Each luxury tent boats a private open-air shower so that guests can even get closer to the true feel of the South African bushveld and the warm glow of the early morning sun. The tents are elegantly and stylishly furnished. A fully equipped kitchen lapa contains all amenities, including a four-plate gas stove with oven, fridge/freezer, cutlery, crockery and scullery. Chairs and a table are also in the lapa, and camps are serviced daily by our friendly staff.
