This is a glorious little rural estate in Kipilovo, a village nestled in the Stara Planina Mountains, 50km from Sliven. Its luxury villa, cottage, barn and pool have been lovingly refurbished, extended and luxuriously equipped with complete escape in mind. Although the premises can sleep 10 or more, it is an excellent retreat for a much smaller number - or even just a couple - who love freedom and space.The area is perfect for people who enjoy nature, painting, cycling, filmmaking, photography, exploring, reading, writing and walking and those who want a holiday villa and cottage that enable them to get away from it all, or to explore Bulgarian life off the tourist trail.
The main White House Villa comprises 3 bedrooms and one large lounge/sleeping area, all of which are suitable for couples. These consist of one master bedroom with large double bed. The two further bedrooms contain double sofa bunk beds with a single bunk above. The lounge/sleeping area contains a very huge sofa bed which converts from a big settee. The house can therefore sleep 8 to 10, or more if room sharing suits. There are 2 bathrooms (or wet rooms) with showers and WCs, one upstairs and one downstairs. The kitchen is large with a good dining area and is fully fitted with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge freezer. The kitchen contains enough china, glassware, utensils and catering gear for very large groups. There is plenty of bed linen and lots of towels for your stay. There are two entrances to the main house - one to the upstairs and one to the ground floor - with internal stairs connecting upstairs and downstairs as well. The Cottage consists of
a large studio flat with a huge bathroom and small breakfast room. It has a very large double sofa bed and extra camp beds for children or friends. The big bathroom has two showers, a bath and toilet and can also be used as a changing room/shower facility for the pool as it has a door to the outside. The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen and dining area with washing machine and TV and is completely kitted out with bed linen and towels. There is extensive landscaping, a pergola, vines, seating and patios for outdoor eating and sunbathing, complete with summer kitchen and plenty of chairs and tables. For groups and fun we have refurbished the large barn with a portable pool table and a well lit games/party area. We have provided an above ground pool for the summer months, big enough and deep enough for a large group to swim or play in without harm to wildlife. This year we are planting the grounds with masses of lavender and roses so expect heavenly scents to add to your summer pleasures when you stay.

The village of Kipilovo is perfectly situated for exploring It is 3 km from the next village Starra Reka which has a few bigger shops and good wines 24 km from Kotel good for history shopping 31 km from Elena old quaint good traditional restaurants 48 km from the city of Sliven which is home to a fabulous fresh produce market pretty cafes bars restaurants and major supermarkets gallery museum and stores 60 km from Veliko Turnovo the historic town popular with tourists 145 km from the seaside city of Bourgas the airport and the Black Sea coast resorts of Sunny Beach and more 200 km from Plovdiv airport 240 km from Varna plus airport on the Black sea coast 325 km from Sofia airport There is so much to explore and see in the area below are just a few places recommended by visitors The chocolate box villages of Zheravna North of Sliven the nature park Sinite Kamuni or Blue Rocks is situated and is a paradise for nature lovers bird watchers and climbers The nature park is accessible by chair lift from the town and accessible by car It boasts a great variety of birds including the Egyptian Vulture and has a lake for picnics and fishing The region is rich in rock and cave formations One of the most popular caves is the Zmeiovi or Dragons cave about 5 km from Sliven There is an underwater river in the cave approximately 150 metres in length There are many waterfalls in the area The Dragons Cave The Camel Step and Sunny Meadow to name a few The Sliven Museum of History Museum of Revival Arts the Hadzhi Dimitur House Museum the Drama Theatre and the Puppet Theatre are just a few of the many things to see Sliven has a railway and a bus station and is on the main Sofia to Bourgas highway In September a major rally car race is held here in the mountains and many folklore festivals are celebrated in traditional costume
