Lexington is a Civil War era college town with a lot of nice restaurants, museums and shops. Rockbridge County has all outdoor activities including biking, hiking, fishing, canoeing and horseback riding. There are wineries, parks and our wonderful outdoor theater, The Theater at Lime Kiln.
