Beach Haven Crest - Third from Beach This Unique Rental has been very well thought out for making sure you have all the comforts of home while away on your vacation. The House was finished a full renovated in 2010. Entering in the front cut glass door you are in the first floor living room with beautiful nautical/beach/whimsical artwork. The stone-faced gas fireplace with a reclaimed chestnut beam mantle, has blue glass in stonework that glow giving it a aquatic feel. There is a built in entertainment center, 42 inch flat screen TV/DVD, and area for you games to be stored for gaming. The large pop up coffee table is nice for games provided( Monopoly, Guesstures, Would You Rather, Life, Battleship, Cranium, Axis and Allies, Amazing Animals Trivia, Kids Choices, Sorry), or for dining in front of the game on TV. The comfortable micro fiber wrap around couch with 2 recliners and small table top, makes a close spot for your popcorn bowl. There is a queen pullout couch in wrap around couch, and across from it is a full size cream leather couch. The floors are a beautiful natural color, 18 inch porcelain tile that is easy cleaning, throughout open floor plan in first floor living room, kitchen, mudroom, hall, and bath. Moving into the kitchen the Hickory Kitchen cabinets are filled with almost everything a person could need to cook up a grand meal, and desserts. It is stocked with 2 lobster pots, 2 Dutch ovens,7 different frying pans, small to large size pots, countertop electric griddle, most types of bake ware pans, There is a dresser/buffet table filled with entertaining platters and bowls, formal sectional glassware, large salad with matching utensils, and bowls, punchbowl. Above refrigerator there are many baskets for chips and such, vases, and pitchers for you powdered drink, or cocktail surprises. there are several cutting boards, food choppers, jello jiggler molds, cheese spreaders, cookie sheets, racks, rolling pin, several measuring cups, spoons, and measuring shot glasses. The silverware drawer is stocked with many extras for entertaining ease, whimsical spreaders, grapefruit spoons, multiple spatulas, flippers, ladles, whisks, apple cutter, wine opener, can openers, tongs, and much more. The 11 foot Island Bar is actually 2 mini bars used as pedestals, with a hardwood floor top we hand made for seating 16, it is one wheels so it is movable for clearance of a wheelchair or walkers if too narrow of a space, and easy cleaning underneath and around . It was made to store bottles of liquors, and stemware, with wine shelves, and mixer cabinets, we find it useful for storage for pantry items. The appliances in the kitchen: a full size microware with the easy quick popcorn, reheat, beverage, etc., 4 burner top oven with several size broiler pans, with time cook, clean, and timer. The new refrigerator is a side by side, with auto ice machine (crushed or cubed), with filtered water dispenser, huge ice bucket in freezer for extra ice, a second huge bucket for overflow ice if you need to make a extra ice for a gathering, nice large adjustable side shelves that hold gallon containers and large tall bottles of wine, 4 slice wide toaster, toaster oven for more toast or great mini pizzas, 12 cup coffee maker, blender. There is a double bowl sink with garbage disposal, and pullout spray handled faucet for easy cleaning. And as a special treat for the kiddies we have a slushy maker, ice cream machine, and bread maker for those days you are indoors and need some type of activity to keep them busy, and will be a tasty treat. In the mudroom there is a utility sink to clean up after a messy activity, some extra coolers for your use (please wash and dry before restoring on shelf, and not for fishing please), a stackable washer/dryer, and cleaning supplies. This room is a great check point for little ones to make sure they aren't tracking the beach in with them :) There are 3 locked out closets for owners use in hallway, and one in first floor bathroom. The first floor has 3 bedrooms: The front room has gorgeous ocean views, a set of bunk beds, a high heels shoe chair, stocked toy box (blocks, legos, puppets, puzzle, Barbie, and tiny town doll set, tent, coloring books, checkers, dog pull toy. There is a dresser, end table with lamp, some kids reading books, closet, and some hooks for kids to have some easy hang ups for some hoodies and such, and some whimsical kids decor. The floors are a rich hickory lament wood floors for easy cleaning. The second bedroom has a nice ocean view from the bay window, window seat made of the hickory wood, queen size bed, wall mirror, high boy dresser, end table with some historical LBI reading books, with lighthouse/nautical decor. The third bedroom has 2 large oversized window which make a great sunny room, a queen bed, room for a crib (you bring), end /chess/check table with lamp, dresser with mirror, built in bookcase with loads of magazine, books for all readers, night stand, closet. The first floor bathroom has a stand up shower stall with handicapped rails leading into the stall in the room wall, and by stall bench seat, for kids and elders to have a good grip getting around. The toilets are a high boy type, also good for the elders, (you may need a stool for little folks, I have one if needed). The antique sink with raised basin, and the medicine cabinet has a emergency kit, just in case. Small dogs are welcomed if house broken, and are allowed on first floor, tiled floors only, and never allowed on rooftop deck for their own safety. Going up the nautical looking steps, with brushed nickel spinals, rope trim and Santa, "figurehead", like on a ship, to help kids keep in line, since Santa is always watching :) we enter the second floor. The second floor living room is a great sunny spot for great movie nights, or catching the Super bowl on while hanging out and catching up with friends and family. It has a queen size pullout couch, a flip down full sleeper, and a single bean bag couch great views of the ocean and of the 60 big screen TV, with DVD, and older play station game set and games, throw blankets for chilly nights, and some games:. Feel free to bring your own TV game sets. In the corner there is a small desk for those who aren't able to leave work behind, but it does have and ocean view if it helps :)We have WiFi. In the other corner is a locked hutch for storage. This room is decorated with a sun and moon theme, and is very colorful with some colored glass high in the cathedral ceilings and above the 8 ft. tall window sills. The second front floor bedroom has amazing ocean views, with a king size bed. There is a round table that is great for puzzles of games when you get a rainy day. This is a great room to watch the lightning storms roll across the churning Atlantic Ocean. In the corner there is a night stand with lamp, a dresser with round mirror, and another night stand with puzzles in it, and closet. This room has aquatic decor and some fisherman/lighthouse pictures. The second bedroom upstairs has a queen size bed, dresser with mirror, and closet. It has a cheery surfer floral border and beach decor. The second floor bathroom has a glass slider enclosed tub to keep those little ones in a splash zone while bathing, a highboy toilet, and a closet for your storage of towels and sundries. At the end of the hall there is a bookcase with magazines, and some books for the when the readers run out. Going out the first floor back door the back yard has a clothesline, outdoor shower with bench, 2 picnic tables, butcher block for meal/grill prep/buffet area and gas grill. In other corner has wrap around bench seating for some great entertaining area. The side yard has a sand toy box to take up to the beach for the little ones. (Please keep ocean critters and shells on the beach, if left in yard they can be smelly and cut up bare feet. There are ash trays in the front yard, back yard and deck area for outside only smoking, please empty before leaving rental. In the front yard the bulk headed garden has many flowering plants attracting humming birds, squirrels, along with many other species of birds, for those missing their feathered friends while away. The matching bulk headed trash bin has several cans for trash, recycled glass/metals/papers, schedule is in house for pick ups, all trash is to be emptied before departure. In the front yard there is 3 parking spaces, and another 3 up alley on side of house. Heading up the back step of the house, saving the best for last, the shared 700 sq. ft. rooftop deck has grand panoramic views. On the deck there is a large table and chair set, and a stack of plastic chairs for extra seating, and 2 chaise lounges with small tables for your drinks. This is the place to be on the 4th of July. Watching the fireworks from up here allow you to see for miles into the surrounding towns off the Island including, Atlantic City Hotels glow, Manahawkin, Little Egg, Tuckerton, Waretown, and Barnegat. The towns on the Island are vivid in color from Bay Village's display including the Ferris wheel lights, and the boats on the bay and ocean shooting off fireworks, to Barnegat Lighthouse. It is an long enjoyable evening, starting at dusk. We live in the back half of the second floor and full third floor year round, and are at your fingertips for any issues or questions about the house or the Island. We have our own entrances on the second and third floor. We have 2 teen daughters 13 and 15 if you have a need for babysitting or a Mommies Helper at the beach, while on your vacation. We reserve 2 parking spots on the right side of the house for our use, and share the trash containers. Please contact us with any questions, requests.
