Take a day trip to the Volcanic Region of the 'Massif Central', or visit one of the many Spa towns of the area, for a pampering 'treat'.

fishing in rivers or well stocked lakes.
Horseriding, carriage rides, walks in forest and around lakes .Electric boats on the canal du berry.electric or manual bikes for hires. Golfing.Brocantes, Markets, and wonderful firework displays (14th July and 15th Aug.)
Other cultural activities include, visits to museums, Abbeys ( Souvigny & Noirlac) Chateaux (over 500 ). Theatres, music festivals, fireworks, 'son et lumier', winetasting, arboretums, beautiful gardens to visit, and organised forest nature walks.
