The apartment is fully centrally heating with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortably sleeps 6 in two large bedrooms - a double room with single annex, and a duplex room with a single bed on one level and 2 further single beds on a large mezzanine floor.
One bathroom with large bath and shower, as well as two separate WCs for added comfort.
The highlight of the apartment is its south-facing garden, terrace and balcony with long hours of sunlight and excellent mountain views.
Local Area DetailsThe apartment is located in a small Pyrenean village at 800 metres altitude very peaceful and relaxing with both working shepherds who produce the local Ossau valley cheese and a honey producer in the village. The apartment is located close to the Spanish border 30 km to Lourdes 45 km and to the family ski resort of Gourette 7km There is ample opportunity for cycling skiing and hiking in the Pyrenees National Park. During the season the thermal baths in the nearby village of Eaux Bonnes 2km are open and in the summer and autumn there are numerous village fetes in the Ossau valley including the Cheese Fair in Laruns celebrating the moment when the shepherds descend from the mountains with their flocks and delicious cheese. In July you can particpate in the transhumance and view the Tour de France
