Lewis and Clark country --- right at the spot where they met the Native Americans for the first time. Water activities of all kinds -- fishing, canoing, boating, sailing, skiing. Hunting for many types of game. Historical site of France's claim to this area by the Verendrye brothers. State capital with historically rich area in Pierre and Fort Pierre areas. Buffalo ranch in local area. Trail riding as well as walking are easily accessible. Camp sites are nearby for those who like to enjoy the outdoors. Deer, pheasants, coyotes, wolf, geese, etc. are a normal part of our scenery.
