The Pressoir is a detached house just outside the gates of the main farmhouse. There are 2 double bedrooms, bathroom with bath & shower, a large well equipped kitchen, with oven, microwave, 4 plate gas hob & washing machine. A good selection of china, glassware, cooking pots, cleaning materials & wiping up cloths. The lounge/dining room is open plan and comfortably furnished with french doors onto a patio and garden, with lovely views over farmland. This gite is centrally heated by a fuel boiler and all linen & towels and fuel is included in the price.
This gite is quiet with complete privacy for relaxation, but close enough to the main house to be friendly or ask for help with places of interest.
There is a pool 300 mtrs in a secluded garden area.
Local Area DetailsWe are situated in the country surrounded by farmland and vineyards, 3 klm from the village Ambillou Chateau. Angers & Saumur are lovely French towns to explore 20 klm away. We are also close to lots of chateaux and museums, with lots of organized festivals, with wine and food. There are good resturants of all prices, and because we are in the heart of Anjou wine region, there are plenty of large and small wineries to visit. Sports of all kinds are also catered for here. But most of all relaxing with a glass of Anjou wine in a peaceful setting.
