Property Details of New Hampshire Cottage

We have 6 one bedroom cottages (2 people), 2 two bedroom cottages (4 people), 1 three bedroom cottage (6 people) and 2 four bedroom cottages (8 people). Each bedroom has a private bathroom. Cottage come with a separate living/dining areas, fireplace, kitchenette or fully equipped kitchens, and VHS equipped TV.

We also have 12 rooms in our Carriage House (circa 1860) and 24 more rooms in the West Wing of the Main Lodge. Some of the rooms offer two and three bedroom family suites. The Inn has a total of 50 rooms plus meeting spaces perfect for weddings, receptions, family reunions and special parties.

The Inn is nestled with the White Mountains on 210 acres surrounded by majestic views of the Presidential Mountain range with Mt Washington, and borders on the Great North Woods region of NH.

We have a outdoor heated pool, 4 clay tennis courts, a complete fitness room, separate Billiard and Recreation rooms, Tearoom, full service gourmet restaurant, 9-hole Pitch & Putt, Volley ball, Croquet, plenty of game tables, puzzles, movies and books... even a separate kiddie room with Brio trains and Maddeline dollhouse. A 42" TV with Direct TV and HVS/DVD service is located in our Coffee Bar in the Main Lodge.

Free Tea/Lemonade and Coffee with freshly baked cookies are served daily.

Local Area Details

There are plenty of natural attractions (Flume Gorge, the Basin, Franconia-Crawford and Pinkham Notches) including waterfalls, great hiking and climbing opportunities (including the Appalachian Trail), many rivers and lakes for rafting and fishing.

There is Mt Washington and it's weather observatory, the auto-trail and Cog Railway to take to it's top (6,288 ft). We are down the street from the Weathervane Theater, the Mountain View Grand hotel [one of only four remaining Grand hotels from the turn of the century. The Mt. Washington (20 min) and The Balsams (1 hr)] are also nearby, Santa's Village, Six Gun City, Little NH home of the author of Pollyanna and of Chutters (Guinness Book of Records for the longest continuous candy counter), covered bridges, plus antique and outlet shopping. Discounted 9 and 18-hole golf, horseback riding, and full European Spa are nearby.

For winter sports we are near four ski resorts, the NH snow mobile trail-system, and cross-county trails as well.
