Lassalle is a magnificent 12th century presbytery set in 165 acres of rolling Gersoise countryside with a thirty acre private lake. There is one apartment for letting Gaugin which sleeps a maximum of six in two bedrooms, one double bedroom and one family bedroom for two adults and two children. Gaugin can be supplemented by a further large guest suite sleeping two adults and two children in two bedrooms with shared shower room.

The spacious lounge has French windows leading to the large terrace with spectacular views over the lake. Garden furniture is placed under a shady roll out canopy. In the winter a large fireplace with wood burning stove supplements the under floor heating available throughout the apartment.

The fully fitted kitchen has full oven, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher and has direct access both to the private terrace and through to the leisure facilities.

The spacious shower room and WC has heated towel rail and washing machine. There is an additional shower room available in the pool changing room directly behind the kitchen.

Gaugin has direct access to the leisure facilities. In this stunning room overlooking the lake are a small indoor pool with massage jets and swimming machine, a sauna, a steam room, a pool table, and a solarium area. There is a full range of gymnasium equipment. Outside there is a large trampoline and a table tennis table.

Extra leisure facilities for a charge include boating, fishing rods, archery, clay pigeon shooting, target shooting.

At Christmas and New Year packages will include gala meals.

Local Area Details

The Gers is a delightful green and rolling department of SW France. The airport at Toulouse is an hour and a quarter away and is serviced by Easyjet as well as many other airlines. Mirande is the nearest town at 10 km distance. This charming small town has markets on Mondays and Saturdays, a museum and a cathedral. The small lake in Mirande has fishing, walks, and a fitness trail. there are several bars and restaurants.

Auch is at 20 km distance and is a lovely cathedral town with many bars and restaurants, several museums and lots of small lanes with shops in the old town. It is supposed to be the birthplace of the fictional D'Artagnan of the Three Musketeers. There are many bastides and chateaux to visit in the area.
