High quality standards and service can be found at the Bees Knees Guest House. Spotlessly clean throughout with a strong attention to detail and the little extras guests enjoy.
All rooms are En-suite and come with above average facilities and services. Our beds are carefully made using 100% Cotton bed linens and bedding. We only use Hypoallergenic fillings in our duvets and pillows.
All rooms are supplied with a well stocked hospitality tray including a fridge for fresh milk supplied daily and a daily supply of home made cakes and cookies.
All our foods are locally sourced, organic and seasonal where possible. Our meats are locally produce and are either rare or traditional breed. We smoke locally caught fish which has now become an established part of our Award Winning Breakfast and Supper Tray menus. We also make our own Breakfast Sausages which contain 96% pork and 4% herbs and spices.
Other facilities available. Free Parking, Wifi, A comfortable Guest lounge. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden which has a lovely patio area that benefits from day long sunshine.
Local Area DetailsWe are only a 10 minute drive from the local Blue Flag Award Winning beaches the nearest being Sandbanks and Branksome Chine. Ferries to Brown Sea Island can be boarded either at Sandbanks or Poole Quay. We are centrally located between Poole and Bournemouth with very good local bus transport connections. Our nearest tourist attaction is Compton Acres Garden. A privately owned garden open to the public with different zones for keen botanists and gardeners to enjoy. An ideal venue for weddings.
