If you crave the beauty and serenity of nature, peace and quiet, privacy and a chance to see deer and wild turkey close-up, our cottage is right for you. We are 15 minutes from Oneonta and just a short scenic drive from Oneonta to Cooperstown. The cottage sits in a clearing on 11 acres of woods, perfect for bird watching with hiking and walking trails. The only sound you will hear at night is the sound of crickets, and the cottage is a great get-away. You can just relax and swim in our 20'x 40' pool, enjoy a picnic with an outdoor gas grill by the cottage, or have access to many fine, inexpensive, off the beaten path restaurants in the area.

What we offer is a vacation experience you will want to repeat. We are child and pet friendly as well as a non-smoking establishment. The cottage itself sleeps 6,has two bedrooms (a queen and the other with twins) and two hotel quality moveable beds. There is a comfortable living room with a monitor/VCR with tapes, and a phone to make reservations wherever you might want to go. We have a fully equipped kitchen (including pots, pans, dishes, blender and coffee maker), and a full bathroom with tub and shower. Ceiling fans cool the bedrooms and there is a heating system for chilly nights. Quilts, linens and towels and provided. A canoe is available for trips along the nearby Susquehanna and Unadilla rivers and for fishing on Lake Otsego in Cooperstown. We assure you an enjoyable stay. Centrally located, it is an easy drive to Cooperstown's Otsego Lake, Baseball Hall of Fame, Glimmerglass Opera, and Its well known museums. Oneonta (20 minutes) offers its National Soccer Hall of Fame, Minor League Baseball at Nehawa Park and its many choices of shops and eateries.
