Jasmine Villa, holiday rental villa, is perfectly situated on the edge of Kalkan village in Turkey. Located in an quiet and peaceful position and only 10-15 minutes walk to the village centre. All fully airconditioned rooms have uninterrupted views overlooking Kalkan bay. This 2 bedroomed holiday rental villa is characterized by its beautiful views and offers accommodation for 4-6 people. Being a spacious, comfortable house with an shaded eating area, open veranda, sun loungers on the pool terrace and a roof terrace with barbecue, all of which overlook a generous sized pool.

The private pool is accessed through the french doors from the lounge, enabling a watchful eye to be kept on the children as they play. It is also enclosed by a decorative balustrade wall .The Mediterranean garden is very beautiful, set with palm, lemon, olive, banana trees and many exotic flowers.

The lounge area is very spacious with 2 long 3/4 sofa beds,TV, DVD, CD and there is a well equipped fitted kitchen suitable for 6 people. There are 3 dining areas, roof terrace, inside and another outside in the open air mezzanine room leading onto the terrace surrounding the private pool.

This holiday villa has two large bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and the spacious second bedroom has two single beds and cot with both bedrooms opening out onto the sea view upper balcony over looking the Mediterranean. Both bedrooms have loads of storage space, twin wardrobes, chest of drawers, dressing tables, bedside tables, bedding and towels.

There is a large bathroom with Jacuzzi and shower and marbled topped vanity units on the second floor and another large shower room on the ground floor, also with marbled topped vanity units and housing the washing machine.

Further stairs lead up to the ceramic tiled roof terrace with a barbecue area and pergola, giving unimpeded views to the sea. This is a really special place to catch up with your sun tan, and also an opportunity to experience the amazing view of Kalkan habour. At night the roof terrace gives you all the romantic skylines you desire and is certainly the place to kiss the stars!

On most tours you will travel in an air conditioned car or mini bus and if you wish, you can take the local Dolmus (shuttle service in modern air conditioned minibuses).

Sun, Sea and Beach

If you want a sun, sea and beach holiday, a cultural or a fun activity holiday, you will find a wide variety of things to do from Kalkan. There are many guided day trips available to all the nearby archaeology sites, the many beaches along the coast or a trip to the nearby towns of Kas and Fethiye. Kalkan itself has a village market each Thursday selling a range of goods, souvenirs and locally grown produce and the famed spices of Asia Minor. For the water sports enthusiasts, there are trips to Patara Beach for parascending or Saklikent Gorge for a days canoeing.

Kalkan has one of the best Dive Centres on this part of the Turquoise coast for beginners wanting a days taster to experienced scuba divers wanting new seafloors to explore. Kalkan Dive Centre offers a one day dive costing around 25 GBP to a 3 day dive for around 70 GBP. They even do night dives for around 20 GBP.

With the drivers assistance you can arrange your own personalised day out and even add a relaxing massage in an authentic Turkish bath (Hamam). An experience you will talk about for a long time. A few of the sites to visit with the local tour operators are Kekova and Simena, Lycias famous sunken city and Roman castle ruins, Xanthos which was the capital city of Lycia and which has recently revealed complete mosaic floors, Patara which is famous for its beautiful 18 km sandy beach and its nearby ruins, Pinara with its beautiful Lycian ruins, Tlos - another great Lycian city and home of Pegasus, the famous rock tombs of Myra and the church of St. Nicholas and the three temples of the sacred Lycian cult centre.
