Come and relax in front of the pot belly stove. Sit on the verandah with a drink and watch the stunning sunsets, or just take a leisurely stroll in the evening and watch the kangaroos browsing. The cozy and luxurious interior sleeps six people, in two bedrooms, one with a queen size double bed and the other two bunk beds. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave and fridge/ freezer. The living area has a pot belly stove, colour television, VCR and air-conditioning. The verandah with stunning views has a gas BBQ and a jarrah garden setting. Yes, we are one of the few farm stay cottages where your pet is welcome, from dogs to horses all would enjoy the change of scenery! As long as you realize we are a working farm with our own working dogs, & your pet respects our animals they will be most welcome here. Bring your children to see, first hand, from where the wool for their jumpers, the wheat for their bread and the meat for their hamburgers comes. We will be delighted to take them (and you) around at feeding time, maybe helping to bottle feed an orphan lamb or go out after dark with the spot-light looking for kangaroos, collect their own eggs for breakfast, and feed the chooks. The Wendy House has its own small garden but our farm is 3,500 acres (approximately 8km x 2.5km) so there is lots of space for children. The Wendy House has a supply of board games, magazines and books . The property of 36000 acres is divided into paddocks each with at least one watering source. We run approximately 800 merino sheep for fine wool production & 500 cross bred ewes for prime lamb production. We keep 100 Shorthorn cows and 4 Pedigree Shorthorn bulls for beef production. We crop about 1500 acres a year, wheat, barley & canola for selling, lupins and oats for feeding sheep and for making hay to feed the cattle during the summer.
