Thorn Heyes House has proven very popular for family get togethers. Most occasions are for someone's birthday as a surprise, and friends and family stay away together to celebrate over the weekend - in time to get back to work on the Monday. The rooms are all centrally heated and most are en-suite. There are 10 bedrooms in all, being mainly doubles or family rooms, and 1 room being a twin, and 1 a bunk bed room. The house is ideally situated in Buxton being only 10 - 12 minutes walk from the centre. There is a handy pub just 50 yards from the house, and a 24 hour Esso station next door to that! There is ample private parking around the house (which is detached and in it's own grounds)

Local Area Details

Buxton is a town central to many other larger towns such as Manchester, Macclesfield, Stockport etc and also provides a great base area to explore the surrounding places of interest. There are many stately homes to visit, and with Castleton only 20 minutes away a few caverns and a castle to look round. Buxton has Pooles Cavern too. The famous Buxton Opera House hosts many great acts and stars, so it is always worth checking out what is on for the weekend you may be interested in - who knows it could be something right up your street!
