Local Area Details

Torre delle Stelle Is a lovely village situated halfway between Cagliari (Sardinia's main town) and Villassimius (South Sardinia most renowned holiday resort. The distance from both is of about 20 km. Alternatively one can fly to either Alghero' Airport or to Olbia's airport, which are both at about 2 and 1/2 hours drive from the villa. The village has its own shopping centre, restaurants, bars, pizzerias, cash machine, internet point, boutique and souvenir shop. A variety of restaurants where typical Italian and/or Sardinian food is served are also just a few minutes' drive away from Torre delle Stelle (please ask for opening times during the low season). Other amenities in the village include: diving centre, tennis courts, football and basketball grounds, playground. Just outside the village there is also an equestrian centre where both children and adults can take riding lessons, or if already proficient, take the opportunity of joining the numerous excursions on horseback that the centre organises on a regular basis.
