Local Area Details

Eumundi markets run twice a week, Wednesday and Saturday 0600-1400, right through the year. They attract about 10,000 people on Saturdays and about 6000 on Wednesdays. A huge range of local tropical produce, artworks, artists, performers, clothes, cooking, jewellry etc. The whole town embraces the markets. There is also a Sunday Market at the Butter Factory. There are a number of el fresco establishments and two old style Aussie pubs. Noosa Heads is about 15min, faces north, gets great surf out at the point, fantastic designer shopping, amazing restaurants. Also Alexandria Beach for clothing optional is next beach round from Noosa. The Noosa National Park is home to a wide range of animals including koala bears. West of Eumundi is the Blackall Range with its collection of small tourist focused villages, Maleny, Mappleton and Kenilworth. South of us are the Glasshouse Mountains, spectacular volcanic plugs set in the coastal plain. This is a wonderful part of the world.
