Welcome to Unit 709 in the tower section of the Pinnacle Port complex. Pinnacle Port is located in the furthest west part of Panama City Beach, Florida. No where else in Panama City Beach will you find a resort on the beach and a lake on 26 acres of sand. This private, gated resort borders a Camp Helen State Park to the west, Carillon Beach to the east, the 800 acre Lake Powell to the north and the Gulf of Mexico to the south. We are close enough for daily activities in the busy areas of Panama City Beach, Panama City, Destin and Sandestin. While remaining far enough off the beaten path to enjoy the seclusion and privacy that on Pinnacle Port can offer. Our beaches provide the most picturesque sunrises in the mornings and sunsets in the evenings. Families take long walks and many begin their life journey together on the white sands. The setting is absolutely serene.

Unit 709 offers a full southeastern view of the crystal clear waters of the emerald coast from both the dining room and from the bedroom. It also provides a panoramic view of shimmering Lake Powell from the balcony. This has been my favorite place to enjoy the mornings first cup of coffee. The unique design of this non-smoking condo is just fantastic. The Master bedroom comes complete with a full private bathroom, a St. Maarten style King sized bed with matching chest of drawers and end table, a wall mounted flat screen TV with cable service, a cordless telephone, a large closet for storage and a lovely view of the Gulf of Mexico. The tasteful furnishings throughout the rest of this unit include a very comfortable Queen size sleeper sofa in the living room, two arm chairs, antique bentwood end tables and more. The dining room is equipped with a bentwood dining table with seating for four, access to the breakfast bar with three comfortable stools and again a lovely view of the Gulf of Mexico. The kitchen comes with refrigerator, dishwasher, conventional stove/oven, microwave oven, toaster, stainless steel side by side sink with disposal, coffee maker, blender, mixer, pots, pans, skillets, turkey roaster, and basically every utensil known to mankind. If you discover something we don't have we will have it delivered to you during your stay. The laundry room has a full size washer/dryer set, iron and ironing board. Make yourself at home with the wide variety of authentic Floridian works of art and artifacts, as well as some works by local artisans.

Pinnacle Port offers two swimming pools for your enjoyment. The small pool is across the parking area has 25,000 gallons of water. This pool is not covered, but has an abundance of foliage to give it a secluded feel. There is a bath house and drink machines for your convenience. The tennis courts and children’s playground are on either side. The large pool is attached to the main tower building with a total of 118,000 gallons of water. Half of the large pool has a roof covering the shallow end. This allows families to enjoy the cool waters even if they prefer to stay out of the hot afternoon sun. In the winter, this half of the pool in completely enclosed and the water is heated to a comfortable 82°. This pool sits on the Gulf so you can see and hear the waves. Music is played over the speakers during daylight hours. Concessions are available for a small fee. Just inside the main building, across from the men’s and women’s changing rooms are the men’s and women’s saunas. This area is open to all guests during the open pool hours. There is also a video arcade available for the youngsters.

Another exclusive amenity provided to our guests is a marina with a boat ramp and 14 boat slips. All of the boat slips have access to electrical outlets. Guests have the option to bring their boat, Waverunners or jet skis with them. There is a small $10.00 per week trailer parking fee collected at the guard gate. A filleting station with a cutting board and a sink are provided for your convenience. If you're interested, you can even rent canoes, kayaks or a paddleboat for some great outdoor activities from the rental office next to the docks. They also provide paddles and life vests with your rental. Almost anything you can fish for in the Gulf of Mexico you can catch in Lake Powell. Florida fishing license requirements apply to the lake and gulf. Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

The children’s playground on the west end of property. This area gives the kids a little more to do if they are too small for other activities. The small pool is right in front of the playground. While the grown ups to relax and rejuvenate the kids are entertained by the locomotive themed playground. The play ground offers a 6 station swing, a train, complete with a tunnel for games of hide-and-seek, a small climbing course, ideal for the little ones, and a fun tube slide. Along with the play ground, the resort offers an exciting game room for the older kids, ideal for sending them off to play while you relax.

If tennis is your game come and play a set beside the water of beautiful Lake Powell. After spending some time at the beach head to the court for some volleying fun. If you are lucky, the part time resident bald eagle will make an appearance at the top of an old light pole just southwest of the courts. There are four courts that have lighting set on a timer. The fencing around the courts has a wind guard material. The court hours are 5 in the morning to 11 at night. The lights will automatically shut off accordingly. During the winter season, many tournament and lessons are held on our tennis courts. At the rental office, you can put down a deposit and use our tennis rackets and tennis balls. If you want to workout while on vaction, feel free to visit the fitness room. It comes complete with weights, cardio equipment and a view of the gulf that will distract even the fitest of our visitors.
