Welcome to Casa Sophia a delightful, traditional Spanish Village house. Set in a quiet, pedestrian, cobbled lane within the charming Village of Torrox Pueblo on the Costa del Sol. Just round the corner from the Main Plaza with its shops, bars and restaurants.

Convenient for both car parks and the bus stop Casa Sophia is comfortably furnished for up to 4 people but also has an extra sitting room which has 2 put u up beds for guests if you are thinking of staying for a month or more.

Accommodation Details.
You enter Casa Sophia up a paved slope off of the public lane and this offers that little extra privacy which means that you can leave your doors open and enjoy the winter sunshine or the cooling breeze.
The double doors open directly into the cute reception/sitting room with freeview (UK) TV and radio.
There is a downstairs double bedroom and a short passage way that leads to the well equipped kitchenette with an oven with gas hob fridge and microwave. There is a shower room and separate toilet (excellent water pressure).
In the little courtyard is a lavateria (washing machine etc).
Opposite the kitchen is a dining room with a table and 6 chairs.
Passing through this room you go up the stairs to the large landing area some 3m square which has put you up beds and is suitable as either an alternative living room area or third bedroom.
There is another quaint bedroom with single beds and a wardrobe and chest of drawers with mirror.
From the walk through room you can also access the large suntrap terrace which is some 20' x 10' in size and has a table and chairs and makes an ideal place to chill out in the evenings.

Casa Sophia is in a very tranquil yet convenient part of the village and only a short walk (four minutes) from the main square with its fresh food market, shops, bars, restaurant, medical centre (emergency as well as normal ailments), dentist and pharmacy. La Plaza de la Constitution (the main Square) and is extremely traditional and attractive with it's avenue of orange trees with half a dozen excellent and reasonably priced bars and restaurants, it is a truly delightful place to sit and absorb the charm of Spain (along with a glass of wine or chilled beer) especially in the evenings when the orange blossom or Dame de la Noche is in bloom. The Casa is also only two minutes from the main road which passes around the Village, The bus stop is just round the corner as is parking and a bit further on (100m) is an even larger car park. Buses are very frequent, reasonable in price and punctual - the only thing punctual in Spain!

Casa Sophia is the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area or just spend the day on the beach With a large sunny terrace and 2 3 bedrooms the house is fully equipped for 4 6 people Only 3 km from the sandy beaches of Torrox Costa and with a village pool nearby there is always somewhere to cool off other than the little outside bars with parasols of course Just 45 minutes from Malaga Airport or one hour from Malaga Bus station Torrox is very accessible and makes an ideal touring base for the historical cities of Malaga Granada Seville nearer are the Roman Cities of Alhama de Granada with its fabulous gorge and spa and Antequera with its nearby El Torcal National Park with its weird and wonderful rock formations Close by are the Caves at Nerja and two Waterparks There are many Sports and activities available locally Baviera Golf Course Boat Trips Scuba diving horseriding walking cycling windsurfing to name but a few One wellbehaved dog or cat is welcome but there is no garden attached to the house although of course there are plenty of interesting little walks around the village
