Hill Cottage Hill Cottage is 400 to 500 years old and is steeped in local history, it has been completely and sympathetically renovated and restored and recently awarded 4 stars by ETC. Hill Cottage sleeps up to 8 people (plus 2 plus cot) in the following accomodation: A modern fitted kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher. A utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, sink and freezer. A downstairs shower room with toilet, shower, sink and shaver point. A spacious dining/sitting room (with double sofa-bed for plus 2), a large, separate living room with sofas, armchairs, log burner, tv/video, games, books, puzzles and cd/radio/cassette player. A payphone is provided in the hallway for the private use of guests. A unique spiralling staircase leads to a landing where there are four bedrooms: two huge double bedrooms with large pine beds and wooden floors and two twin rooms with single pine beds. There is a modern bathroom with bath, sink, shower cubicle and a separate wc. Hill Cottage has full central heating throughout. A small south facing conservatory affords enjoyment of the garden and views whatever the weather. Outside the cottage is set in approximately half an acre of its own private, tiered gardens with spectacular views over surrounding countryside, garden furniture and a garden store for outdoor equipment. There is ample off road parking for several vehicles. We do allow well-behaved pets and would ask owners not to leave pets unattended at any time (kennel available at Beer Mill by arrangement.) Local pubs, shops and restaurants are all within easy reach, while the beach is only a 20 minute drive away. Hill Cottage is available all year round and the fee includes heating , electricity , hot water , a basket of logs , and all bed linen (please bring your own towels).
