Luxury lakeview cedar Chalet with spectacular panoramic mountain views of the the valley, overlooking Lake Windermere. Spacious post and beam construction home, open concept design, pine interior, and over 2000 square feet of living space, make this a home your family will truly enjoy.
The Chalet features 4 bedrooms with a queen bed in master, queen in second bedroom, 1 queen bed/1 single in 3rd bedroom and 3 singles in 4th. bedroom, with 2 full baths. Two cedar decks with patio furniture and gas barbecue. A fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, all kitchenware and small appliances. The living room has a wood burning fireplace. Firewood is provided for fireplace. The property is fenced, with a large childrens play yard. Small dogs are allowed for $100.00 charge but must be approved by Owner.

Local Area Details Just a 5 minute walk to town for shopping, restaurants, pubs for livley music and dancing or cinema. Take a 5 minute stroll down to the Kinsmen Public Beach on Lake Windermere, where you will enjoy walking,, bike paths, tennis, volleyball, swimming, boating, fishing and all water sports. Visit the world reknowned Fairmont and Radium Hot Springs for a relaxing swim or soak in the natural odourless pools or take a 10 minute drive to one of the 8 championship golf courses located close by. Enjoy World Class Skiing at Panorama Mountain Village(second longest vertical in North America) is just a short 15 minute drive from the Chalet, where you will enjoy some of the best downhill skiing and snowboarding around. Six other world class ski resorts are all with-in 1.5 hour drive from the Chalet including Lake Louise and Sunshine in Banff, Alberta, Kicking Horse Resort in Golden, Kimberley Ski Resort, and Fernie Ski Resort. Enjoy heli-skiing in knee deep and waist deep powder for an experience of a lifetime. Other things to see and do are: hiking in mountains, gliding, airplane rides, hang gliding, or para-gliding, from Mt. Swansea, swimming, water skiing and boating in Lake Windermere or Columbia Lakes, windsurfing, kayaking, or canoeing, white water rafting,, float trips, trail rides on horseback, pony rides, beach volleyball, tennis, mini-golf, go-carts, paintball, jet-skiing, sailing or para-sailing. Visit the James Chabot Provincial park and Windermere beaches for fun in the sun. Golf at 8 Championship Golf Courses close by including; Greywolf at Panorama, Eagle Ranch in Invermere, Radium Resort and Springs, Fairmont Riverside and Mountain Side Golf Courses, Trickle Creek in Kimberley, and New for 2003 is the Copperpoint Course in Windermere. Winter activities include hockey games, cross Country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, curling, ice skating and fishing.
