The Posada de San Jose is a 17th century building situated in the heart of the historic quarter of Cuenca, recently declared a World Heritage City. Its priveledged position overlooks the Huecar River gorge. We offer 22 tastefully furnished en-suite bedrooms, most of which have stunning views over the gorge and our garden. Single, double and family rooms, some with terrace or balconies, are available. The Posada is within walking distance of all the major monuments, museums. The better restaurants are located in the old town, as well as several establishments of varied night time ambiance. The old historic quarter offers important monumental visits; Cathedral, Hanging Houses, laberinthic walks through narrow streets with fascinating popular arquitecture.
