Property Details of Normandy Gite
La Hamberie is a renovated farmstead in the beautiful Calvados countryside of lower Normandy. Gite Martin is the one of our cottages (there are 5 in total) renovated and returned to its original purpose using as far as possible local traditional building methods. It is fully equipped with central heating and all the appliances, BBQ etc that you would expect to find.
The solar heated swimming pool, childrens play area and very large indoor play area and library are all included for our visitors.

Visit the memorials, the cities of Rouen, Caen and Rennes, Mont St Michel, The Bayeux Tapeastry, Monets Garden, Honfleur, Racing at Deauville, and the invasion beaches with their heart rending but inspiring stories of the liberation of Europe.

Wi-Fi on site
For 2009 we are installing a wi-fi network on the site. Due to the thickness of the walls of the gites, in most places this is about 3ft, we cannot guarantee a signal everywhere, but we are offering connectivity in our communal areas for a minimal charge, suitable for emails and keeping in touch.
