Set on the first hills rising from Catania Plain towards Etna, offering a magnificent view of the volcano's south face, Alcalą Farm covers 75 acres. We have citrus growing with rows of olive trees and a wide variety of fruit trees. Oranges, Tangerines, Grapefruits and Lemons are harvested from November to June. We produce pure olive oil, jam and marmalade, olives in brine. Dating from the early 1900's, the farmhouses lie at the heart of the farm. To the sides of the main farmhouse buildings where family Sapuppo-La Rosa lives all through the year, then 4 accommodations in self-catering for Guests. They are indipendent quiet apartments recently restructured, all furnished with care, fitted with wood , gas, electric heating. Each accommodation has illuminated outside area equipped with table and chairs and a opanoramic terrace upstairs.
Local Area DetailsBicycles are available for Guests. For children we have a play ground, wide open space without hazards, swings and slides, ping-pong table.
