Property Details of Kenya Villa

the villa is built with coral stone in the local Swahili style with makuti roof (palm leaves thatched roof) on the ground floor there are two bedrooms with king-size beds.
All beds have mosquito nets, all rooms including veranda are equipped with silent ceiling fans. One of the bedrooms as a en-suite bathroom, the two bathrooms have walks - in shower which makes them accessible to wheelchair users,

A spacious living room for those who want to relax indoors. The dining area is outside under the covered terrace, overlooking the swimming pool. Upstairs on the gallery floor there is a king-size bed and a baby cot with mosquito net, We can accommodate up to 7 people as there is a sofa bed in the living room. The traditional architecture of the Villa makes use of the always-present sea breeze and provides the area with a cool and very pleasant Temperature; the villa is spacious and well ventilated
We have a very large kitchen fully equipped with a cooker (gas), oven, and a fridge freezer, coffee maker, toaster, microwave. Sufficient kitchen utensils are available. A chef can also be contracted at reasonable rate £ 7 per day for those who wish to have this service. Our cook will be happy to cook nice typical meals and if you want he can take care of your daily shopping, local fishermen bring in Fresh fish and seafood to your door

Depending on the season you can buy lobsters, prawns, crabs, the most famous red snapper and many other assorted fish direct from the fisherman.
Of course you may cook yourself if you wish. If you like cooking, there is plenty of room to experiment with exotic spices, fresh tropical fruits and vegetables, fresh fish and seafood, meat and even African game like Impala, Ostrich, crocodile, etc is available, although you might have to buy it from Mombassa since game is not affordable and not much liked by the local population. However you have your own personal chef available who will be happy to cook for you.


The Villa will be cleaned on a daily basis and your beds will be made, linen and a basic set of towels are provided. There are some local shops around the area and several big super markets with European standard and are about 10 min drive, the housekeeper will advice you where to do your shopping or your shopping can be done by the cook if you wish.

Our staff work from 8 to 5 pm, any overtime can be arranged. There is also a 3g wireless Internet connection in the compound. Please note that, this is a very safe environment, however, we have a security guard [samburu massai warrior] As well as an alarm system at your disposal when any issue arises.

At your arrival we can arrange your first day shopping. , and if you wish we could stock up your fridge with cool drinks for the duration of your holiday

At you pleasure we can organize day excursions to shimba hills, Mombassa, to shimoni caves, wasini island mangroves and the Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park.
Our villa is built on acre plot and is surrounded by a bougainvillea-covered wall. The garden is carefully looked-after and you will find there are beautiful fragrant exotic flowers, bananas, and papayas, passion fruits, which, of course you are free to taste at your convenience fresh from the trees.
There is an 11x7 swimming pool in the center of Papaya Garden; we use one of the latest salt-water chlorinator systems to treat the water, no red eyes or skin burning.

On one of the corner of the compound, separate from the villas there is also accommodation for my 3 staff members [housekeeper-, pool attendant and gardener] in any moment of the day or night if you require any help they will be able to be there to help you.

We are fortunate to have our own water source and water supply (drinking quality) and have hot and cold water available. Many places around Mombassa do sometimes have water supply problems especially if it did not rain for several months.
