The summer house has a comfortable lounge, stone fireplace, TV and video, and a well equipped kitchen. There is a master bedroom with kingsized bed, a smaller twin or double room and a third room with dousofa bed which can be a third bedroom or second lounge. It has a modern bathroom with mini bath and shower attachment.
The large patio, with stunning views, is perfect for outdoor meals and a chilled glass of wine. There is also a garden with barbecue.
The winter house has a kitchen/diner, lounge with double sofa bed, TV and video and bedroom with twin or double beds and balcony. The bathroom has a mini bath and shower attachment.
The houses are in a tiny hamlet, five to ten minutes from towns, shops and restaurants. A car is recommended throughout your stay.
There are walks from the door through unspoilt countryside with alpine flora and fauna. It is perfect for walkers, artists, writers and nature lovers. Local cuisine is exceptionally good and the vineyards and wine cellars can be visited.
Summer activities include walking, climbing, mountain biking, white water rafting, golf and summer skiing, Ski lifts operate in high season.
Winter activities include skiing, boarding, walking and sightseeing.

Local Area Details

The Aosta Valley is one of the most unspoilt and little known areas of Italy. It has the three highest peaks in Europe, Mont Blanc, Monterosa and the Matterhorn. The Grand Paradiso National Park is one of the largest in the country. Crowds are unheard of even in high season.
Visit the Roman bridges and medieval castles along the valley and the Roman Forum and theatre in Aosta. There are small golf courses in Cervinia and Gressoney, White water rafting near Courmayeur and riding in Champoluc. Turin and Milan can be visited and days out can include the wine cellars of Barolo and the wonderful islands of Lake Maggiore.
