About Golfing

If your looking for a golfing Holiday, we are the perfect place for you. Variety-packed, beautiful designed and maintained golf courses featuring a full range of difficulty, nestled in the multi-faced landscapes of the Alps, allow golfers to enjoy extraordinary diversity. A claim also confirmed by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO), which recognized Austria with the “Undiscovered Golf Destination of the Year” award in 2005. Just a small taster of the enjoyment right on the door step of Haus Barber, why not visit and enjoy the great scenery, great golf and great local experience. The Mittersill-Stuhlfelden Golf Club
Surrounded by the mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park and the Kitzbühel Alps is the 18-hole course of the Mittersill Golf Club. Rustic hay lofts, doglegs, ponds, a small stream and a Par-3 island green, are just some of the highlights of this variety-packed course – a truly enchanting challenge for every golfer.
The Pinzgau Alpine Resort
5 championship courses in the midst of the Alps, each with its individual specialty and its own unique landscapes – making the Pinzgau one of Austria’s most attractive golfing regions. The fact that golf is also about experiencing nature, is impressively born out right here. Golfing on the lake shore with views that are spectacular, on a high plateau at the foot of the Steinernes Meer mountains, on idyllic fairways alongside the Saalach River, or in the midst of the Hohe Tauern National Park itself - the choice is yours. And with 6 more courses in the surrounding region, this truly is a golfing paradise.
Zell am See- Kaprun Golf Club
The Zell am See-Kaprun Golf Club is the biggest golf facility in the Austrian Alps. Both of its 18-hole championship courses – the “Schmittenhöhe" and "Kitzsteinhorn – offer golfers everything that makes this game so attractive: infinite variety, a park-like setting, flat terrain, several lakes and a biotopes, beautifully maintained facilities and a glorious Alpine panorama. This is a must visit golf club to visit and also play.
Urslautal Golf Club
The Urslautal Golf Club captivates players with the extraordinary ambience of its setting. This championship course lies on a high plateau, set against the backdrop of the Steinernes Meer mountains. Pause to enjoy expansive views of the surrounding alpine pastures. The holes each have their own individual character, sometimes long and sometimes hilly, but never too steep, occasionally tricky, but always fair.
How to enjoy the golf at affordable prices
The Golf Alpin Chip Card gives you the opportunity to choose from 28 Golf Alpin partner clubs in the SalzburgerLand. On top of that, you will find 7 "play-only clubs", which round off the picture (at these clubs, the Golf Alpin Card can be used but not bought).

There are two types of Golf Alpin Card – one with 5 and one with 3 green fees. Valid at all Golf Alpin partner clubs and the 6 "play-only" clubs in SalzburgerLand. The alpin card is available from all of the major club shops or receptions and can be used in a variety of ways.
