Property Details of Ile de France Studio
The Studio Flat in Paris for Two on the Left Bank is within walking distance of many places of interest in the heart of Paris. It has two Métro stations nearby and a bus passes the door for easy travel to the rest of the City.
It is a ground floor studio in a courtyard set back from the street in a busy neighbourhood, which has lively streets, excellent and inexpensive restaurants, a variety of shops and the famous food market of rue Cler. It is also safe because of all the nearby Embassies.
THE STUDIO
is on the Left Bank, in the 7th Arrondissment, in rue St Dominique, Paris 75007.
It is halfway along this street, between rue Surcouf and rue Jean Nicot. It is only five minutes walk West from Promenade des Invalides and fifteen minutes South from the Champs Élysées, so is central and extremely convenient for both shopping and sight-seeing. You can go on foot or by Métro from two stations, ‘Latour Maubourg’ only five minutes walk and ‘Invalides’, seven minutes across the Promenade, which is also an RER station for journeys out of Paris. A 69 bus passes the door.
Description of Accommodation
The ground floor studio flat is in a "listed" building and has 22 square metres inside floor area. It is well equipped and has a Bed/Sitting/Dining Room with separate kitchenette, bathroom and loo. Its tall windows with shutters look South into the courtyard and into an inner "courette" to the North.
Sitting Room:
With oak beam and pillar in a high-ceilinged L-shaped room and walls painted white, it is furnished with a large double sofa bed, very large hanging wardrobe with shelves to the ceiling, antique chest of drawers and gatelegged table and country a Chippendale chair. Terracotta tiles throughout and a large woolly rug. Tall windows on to courtyards, double glazing on the front window.

Car Parking and Fuel:
The two underground car parks, ‘Esplanade des Invalides’ and ‘Latour Maubourg’ are convenient but expensive. Street parking is very difficult except in August when restrictions are lifted.

There are four bakers, two supermarkets and a greengrocer within a few minutes' walk and a mouth-watering market in rue CLER - ten minutes walk from the studio. Most shops stay open until 7 pm and some, including the market, are open Sunday mornings.
The district has its bistros, one a few doors down, and many excellent small restaurants of various nationalities. There is a smart restaurant and an Irish Pub almost opposite the street doorway.
