Our Farm-House was built in 1916. With the intentions of making it a guesthouse, it was completely renovated and is up to modern standards. We offer you comfort, ease, care and a cosy atmosphere in the characteristic Frisian tree rich lake area. The Farm-house has 4 double rooms with private shower and toilet and 2 ‘family rooms’ with a double bed and a bunk bed. All rooms have their own television and there is wireless everywhere on our grounds. After a good nights sleep, you will find an elaborate self-service breakfast buffet prepared for you in the lounge. Here there is also a mini-bar, TV, a CD-player, a radio and a cupboard full of toys and games. Furthermore we have a sauna at your disposal.

Local Area Details

In this area cycling is e very popular sport, because this area is absolutely flat. Walking is also populair for the same reason. Within 2 miles you can take a course in the traditional ' fierljeppen' which is jumping with a stich over the small canals which are all over the area. Swimmingpools, a ferry to the Wadden-islands is within 20 minutes by car. Rental cars can be organized or cabs. Eat a fresh caught fish, directly baked and eaten from a piece of paper, An experience. The breeding of Frisian horses is all around and visit a farm where the fanous Frisian cows still are popular all over the world. Shortly, this part of the Netherlands is surprising. Even a trip to Amsterdam is by car about one and a half hour as well as a visit to the famous flowergardens De Keukenhof.
