A traditional mongolian yurt located in a secluded and peaceful valley on the edge of a small village in the heart of Portugal. The yurt can be an unusual and romantic getaway for a couple, or would suit a small family. We have made the yurt and surrounding area safe for small children.

Adjoining the yurt is a covered outdoor kitchen and dining area, and private bathroom. Our property is eco-friendly, using electricity generated with solar panels and a hydro electric generator. The yurt is fully equipped with lights, and a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking and storing food.

Local Area Details

We are located very close to the Cabril reservoir and many other river beaches which are family friendly and suitable for swimming in the hot summer months We have kataks available for guests and can organise canoeing trips with a local operator Pria das Rochas waterpark is a half hours drive away and a great day our for families as is Portugal dos Pequinitos in Coimbra Fiona is a certified yoga teacher and can offer classes during your stay or a week of classes if you wish tailored to your interests and needs We are also close to the historic cities of Tomar and Coimbra Roman ruins at Conimbriga and the religious site of Fatima
