Les Rossignols is a pretty, detached, stone cottage with a walled courtyard, a sunny terrace and a long side garden.

It is set on the edge of a small hamlet in the middle of the vines and has lovely views, on all sides, especially from the back terrace where you can watch the sun go down while sipping a glass of the local wine.

The walled courtyard has a patio table and chairs for 6 persons and 2 sun loungers. There is ample off road parking for up to 6 cars and a good sized terrace overlooking the vines. 3 mins walk away is a gourmet restaurant on the Canal du Midi, La Auberge de La Croisade.

The property is fully double glazed. Downstairs is a comfortable open plan living area with a double sofa bed and arm chairs, a television and cd/dvd/video recorder. Bring your favourite music and films with you! In the ajoining dining area there is an 'American' kitchen. It is fully equiped for 6 persons. There is also a downstairs toilet/shower room with a washing machine.

In the lounge is a wood burner for those cosy cooler evenings. Upstairs there are two nice sized bed rooms, one double and one twin (with a babies cot-free of charge- if needed). In between the two bedrooms is a large toilet/shower room. Both rooms have large fitted wardrobes.

The house has been very recently renovated and has a cool white decor with terracota floor tiles.

Outside, the garden has various trees including an enormous fig and several olive and almond trees. It is fenced off on the road side and Oleander bushes edge the property.

Mediterranean beaches 25 mins away. River swimming 10 mins away. Bike hire 5 mins away or delivered to the door! Lovely walks/cycling along the Canal du Midi. Horse riding in nearby Ouveillan and Creissan. Carcassone, the wonderful walled Cite 45 mins away. Narbonne 20 mins away. Bezier 20 mins away where there is a lovely flower market on Fridays.
