Fantastic Slovenian Family Home, picturesque setting 500m above sea level in the Pohorje Foothills, very close to Ski Resort Mariborsko Pohorje and Maribor City Centre. The house is situated in the beautiful hamlet of Hocko Pohorje at the foot of the Pohorje mountain range, 10 minutes by car to the Arena and Bellevue ski stations at the Mariborsko Pohorje ski resort. Maribor city centre is also a 10 minute drive. Hocko Pohorje is a picturesque hamlet in the Pohorje foothills, situated just off from the main road to the Pohorje Ski Slopes. Over a small bridge the road winds upwards following the mountain stream. Our house is less than 1km from the bridge, set in huge gardens with fantastic views of forest and hills. The ground floor has a large utility room, with plenty of space for skis and hiking equipment,.a large double bedroom, a twin room and a shared bathroom. The 1st floor has the main living areas with a triple aspect over the garden and a large furnished sunny terrace with beautiful views. There is also a large double bedroom and bathroom. The garden is perfect for relaxing and eating outside in warmer weather, in the winter the children practise ski-ing! The house is served only by fresh Mountain Water. By the bridge there is a family owned Inn, Gostilna Recnik. Here you can enjoy a warm welcome with home cooked Slovenian Food, beers and wines, great for a stroll and an evening out
