A stylish, bright and airy townhouse set over three floors with everything to make a family comfortable and feel at home including microwave, washing machine, full fridge/freezer in the kitchen. There is a flat screen & cable TV, docking music station in the living room for Family entertainment, as well as some games for those rainy days! All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, wooden floors and worldwide converter plugs. The private master suite on the top floor has a sky light for morning sunshine and fresh air! Twin room on second floor is overlooking the Station House Courtyard, the second twin room has double doors opening out onto an ornamental balcony with views over the Show Ground. Free parking is available at the townhouse in safe and well lit area. It is quiet, the only sound is the creek running through the town! For your safety there is a fire alarm and fire extinguishers on every floor. Wake up to the aroma of freshly grounded coffee, baked scones & croissants in Steam Cafe across from the Townhouse. More than 70 years ago the last Steam Train departed from Clifden to Galway. Today the Railway Station, its Station House Platform and Engine House have been magnificently restored and transformed into a hotel and courtyard. The Station House courtyard is set around the old Clifden Railway Station. From the townhouse you can take a wonderful walk up the Sky Road, it is a great way to see the wonderful backdrop to the town along with the two church spires, which give Clifden its distinctive skyline. Further along the Sky Road is a gateway leading to the ruins of the old D'Arcy mansion, Clifden Castle. This townhouse is overlooking the Show Ground in Clifden it has a birds eye view for the ever popular 3 day event in Clifden Town, the Connemara Pony Show. Connemara Ponies compete at national competition level to gain the title of Champion Loose Jumping. a Performance Show featuring Working Hunter, Dressage, Puissance & Parade of Champions will parade. There is lots to see and do for all the family including in-hand and riding classes, side saddle, dog show, domestic arts and Irish Dancing.
