The house is decorated in calming colours; white washed walls and slate grey tiled floors, comfy cream and grey linen sofas with a selection of antique furniture that each has a story to tell. The reconditioned black 4-oven AGA in the kitchen comes from the old monastery that was once next door and the breakfast bar made from an old church altar! The living area is designed in such a way that no matter where you are you have a view of the bay, preparing food in the kitchen or sitting at the fire. Just off the living area is a lounge that houses a Yamaha baby grand piano h ere you can open up the double doors opening up to the views of the bay. The dining area opens to the fully equipped kitchen which is is semi open to the living area. This magnificent house stands on 3 acres located in the picturesque Ardbear Peninsular, only 2 miles from Clifden, the Capital of Connemara set between the Atlantic Ocean, the Twelve Ben Mountains and preserved bog lands. There are great opportunities in the surrounding area for walking, cycling, golfing, swimming, surfing, painting or just relaxing and watch the ever changing bay and hill views. Aunty Bo's can accommodate 8 people, with 2 double beds upstairs - double bedroom and twin room on the ground floor. Most rooms have superb views of the surrounding hills and bay. The sitting room seats up to 8 people and enjoys wonderful views of Ardbear Bay and has high vaulted ceilings with a mezzanine area ideal for children to play or for one to relax in the evening after a fun filled day touring the West of Ireland. The superb dining room also seats up to seven people and opens into the fully equipped kitchen, complete with a reconditioned AGA oven. Aunty Bo's is a perfect house for entertaining, large bright open plan area which is suitable for families, couples or friends wishing to get away from it all. If you have extended families or groups wishing to holiday together there is another large 4 bedroom property just up the lane available for rental. Clifden Town Centre oozes character, there are many pubs and restaurants in the area serving fine food, some specializing in locally-caught seafood. Sessions of music, song, and dance are held nightly in most of the local pubs, where young and old, tourist and local, blend together to create a unique atmosphere.
