Beautifully furnished and very well equipped, this apartment has everything you could require for a wonderful holiday. Main bedroom has twin beds pushed together, ceiling fan, en-suite shower room. Second bedroom has twin beds, ceiling fan. Third bedroom has adult size metal frame bunk beds, second and third bedrooms share large family bathroom. The lounge has a double sofa bed, TV, video, stereo, loads of videos, books and games all for guest use. Kitchen has full oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, juice maker, ample crockery and cutlery for 8 guests. There is a small laundry room with washing machine, iron, ironing board and drying line. From the lounge is a terrace, east facing so ideal for sitting in the sun to eat breakfast. Later on in the morning it is shaded which is welcome in the summer sun! From the terrace are stairs leading to a large private roof solarium - 90m2 with table and chairs, 6 sun loungers and bbq. Excellent sea and mountain views from the roof.
The apartment is situated on the complex of La Aldea, approximately 3 years old - there are two swimming pools, tennis courts and a commercial centre which houses a very good supermarket, a couple of small, friendly bars, cyber cafe and some lovely gift shops. The beach of Puerto Rey is a five minute walk.
Local Area DetailsNearby you will find a water park, excellent fun for all the family and half price admission in the afternoons! Go-Karts can be found about a mile away in Garrucha. Mini-Hollywood is nearby, this is where the spaghetti westerns of the 70's were filmed - worth a visit. The ancient white village of Mojacar is a 15 minute drive, you can see it from the apartment roof. Granada is a 2 hour drive, visit the Alahambra Palace, it is lovely. There are 3 18 hole golf courses within a radius of 8 miles and 1 9 hole course where you can play all day for 24 Euros. It is a lovely area, relatively uncommercialised, has more hours of sunshine than anywhere else in Europe and is still very Spanish. There is no "high-rise" in the area, building is being strictly controlled so it remains very rural.
