Three Gables sleeps 10. 5 bedroom house (2 en-suite, one is on the ground floor), 2 cots and a toddler bed, large kitchen/ dinner and a spacious lounge. Free WiFi. Ample parking. pet friendly Newbridge is a small rural village in the west of the Isle of Wight. Three Gables holiday home is in the center of the village yet secluded at the end of its own private drive with plenty of room for parking. The house sleeps 10 in four/five bedrooms. It is the perfect base for friends and families wishing to spend time together and enjoy a relaxing break at any time of the year with the micro climate of the island giving weather that is often better than elsewhere in the UK. Patio doors and large windows give a light and airy feel to the house while good insulation and central heating make Three Gables warm and cosy in the colder months and solar panels provide the hot water in the warmer months. There is a shop two minutes walk away (open March to November) and three pubs within two miles walk. There are easy drives to local towns for shopping and the many tourist attractions around the island. The county town of Newport is only six miles away and historic Yarmouth is three miles away. The nearest beach is also three miles. Bedrooms: Master bedroom has zip and link, can be kingsize or 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 with double bed. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Bedroom 4, has double bed( on ground floor). Study/5th bedroom with sofa bed which makes into 2 full size singles Bathrooms: Master bedroom en-suite with wc, hand basin and bath with shower over. Bedroom 4 en-suite with shower, wc and basin. Upstairs shower room with wc, hand basin and large shower. Downstairs family bathroom with wc, hand basin and bath with shower over. Kitchen: Large bespoke kitchen with Rangemaster electric cooker, fridge/ freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, dishwasher . A large table comfortably seats 10. Utility Room: Separate utility area off kitchen with washing machine, iron and ironing board. Door to back garden for washing line (pegs available). Also bins for recycling. Living Rooms: Spacious lounge with ample seating for 10. TV with freeview, smart blu ray/dvd, CD and ipod dock, internet access. French doors that lead onto the decked veranda and garden to the front. Study room/ bedroom 5 has seating for 4, a double sofa bed and second TV with DVD. Cleaning/Towels/Linen Duvets & pillows on all beds, linen & towels supplied please bring your own beach towels. Property is cleaned before arrival and on departure. Other: A selection of toys and games are available including garden games. The garden is suitable for children, there is a fence to ensure safety. There is a BBQ in the garden and garden furniture is provided for outdoor living. A high chair and stair gate are available on request. 2 cots are also available on special request but please provide your own linen for the cots. Broadband internet access via wi-fi available throughout the house. Pets by arrangement. Well-behaved pets are accepted (1st pet free additional pets £30 per week), provided they are not left unattended in the house, not allowed upstairs or on furniture/beds and owners ensure grounds are left clean. A cot is available on special request but please provide your own linen. High chair and stair gate also provided on request secure storage for cycles The property is not adapted for wheelchairs but is suitable for people with restricted mobility. Access to the property includes a step into the house. On the ground floor is an en suite bedroom, the kitchen, lounge, study and separate family bathroom. Patio doors from lounge go to a decked veranda area, from where steps lead down to the garden. There is also an alternative garden access via a grassed slope.

About Beaches

On the Island, you are never far from a beach. There are plenty to choose from and something to suit everyone, from deckchairs on the sand to fossil hunting! Our nearest beach at Yarmouth is approx 3 miles, a 5 mile drive (approx 10mins) gets you to Brook or Compton Beaches, which are spectacular, natural, sandy beaches, with no commercialism. Compton beach has been named as one of Britain’s top ten beaches by both the Telegraph and the National Trust.
A 10+ mile drive (approx 30 mins) gets you to Ventnor, Sandown or Shanklin beaches, which have shops, cafes and other attractions.

About Ferries

All the Island ferry terminals are within a 25 minute drive. The nearest ferry link is the Wightlink Lymington to Yarmouth ferry . Wightlink also operate a service between Portsmouth and Fishbourne. Red Funnel ferries operate from Southampton to Cowes.
