Our house is at the borders among Lazio, Umbria, and Tuscany, in the countryside, but not alone, in a very interesting area, from natural, historic and gastronomic point of view. It's just 15 minutes walk from the village. It is an old rural house, refurbished but keeping the original features of the ancient farmhouse. There's a large fireplace in the kitchen and a small wood-burning oven in an outer wall of the house. Most of the floors are made of original terracotta tiles and the roof is with exposed chestnut beams, except for the living room, which was the original stable. It was granny's country house, that's why is called "Casale della nonna", where we too, when it is available, sometimes go to relax and meet friends. It has two floors: on the ground floor there’s an inviting kitchen with a fireplace, a comfortable living room and a large full bathroom with bath-tub. On the upper floor, there are four bedrooms and another full bathroom, with shower. It has a wide garden all around and about three hectares of partially fenced farmland. To make the most of the warm Italian sun, the property has been equipped with outdoor furniture to sit and eat outside, a big sunshade, a hammock and a swing for children. There’s a barbecue too, and a little wood-burning oven on one of the external walls of the house, very good for pizza and bread! A bike has been left at guest's disposal and can be used to go to the nearby village for shopping.
